Photography & VIDEOGRAPHY
Gabriela and Jared were wonderful to work with from the beginning! We connected on a phone call in early January and they were very excited to get their engagement session done with me, even though it was the middle of winter. Gabriela had actually done photography work before and I was excited to nerd out about cameras with her! Gabriela and Jared also were excited to plan out their engagement session outfits with me, checking out different dresses and outerwear options to find the best one to fit our shoot location.
Gabriela and Jared were extremely creative and had a great vision in mind for their engagement photos, bringing along their own props to enhance the images! They even toted along a whole picnic basket and champagne flutes for a romantic picnic spread in the woods. I was really impressed with their enthusiasm and creativity! Most remarkable of all, the engagement session was in January and they braved the bitter cold to get their beautiful shots.
We shot their engagement session at Great Meadows Wildlife Reservation in Concord, MA. This is a beautiful reserve with woods, boardwalks, trails, and fields, providing a wide variety of different backdrops. The wildlife refuge even had a few surprises for us, with plenty of bird and muskrat sightings on the cold winter afternoon! Gabriela and Jared were wonderful people (no to mention extremely photogenic!) and I had so much fun chatting with them and stopping every now and then to take some pictures. We had a great time laying out their picnic spread, popping the champagne, playing around with the cute props and strolling through the wildlife reserve. We got creative with the props, posing, lighting, and editing for some beautiful portraits. You can see some of the images from our session below!
