Laney & Wyatt’s Engagement Session at Wildcat Falls in Manchester, NH

As a wedding photographer, I get inquiries daily from couples planning their dream day. But before I can consider working with them, it’s important to me to get to know them a bit more and see if we’re a good fit and if our visions align. 

When I first got in touch with Laney and Wyatt, I immediately knew we would be a perfect match for each other. From the first Zoom meeting, they were funny, honest, easygoing, and most of all, excited about being in love and getting incredible photos to capture the joy of their relationship. 

Laney and Wyatt were high school sweethearts and had run on the cross country team together! Being a runner myself, I was stoked to chat about our favorite trails and races with them. We had even gone to some of the same meets at one point! They have been together for about 4 years now and know that they have found the one. Laney expressed how thankful she was to have met the love of her life so early on in life! They got engaged on a beach on New Year’s Eve in 2020 with their friends all around them in a truly magical moment, and can’t wait to be married.

Laney and Wyatt also booked me for their barn wedding next August in Byfield, MA and I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them again. We are just starting to plan for their event now. It’s clear how much they love each other and how well they work together, and it will be a privilege to be there to celebrate them as they tie the knot and make it official!

I was so excited to shoot their engagement session at Wildcat Falls in Manchester, NH! This park is a conservation of 87 acres of forest, including a gorgeous river and waterfall (Wildcat Falls) a few minute’s walk from the parking area. This area has great bird watching and wild blueberry picking for those who visit. We hiked up a short trail to the falls and had so much fun checking out the beautiful views and finding the perfect backgrounds for their shots.

Laney’s light floral summer dress perfectly complemented Wyatt’s denim shirt and khakis on the beautiful summer day. It was such a pleasure to finally meet them in person at their engagement shoot, and they were truly some of the most wonderful people I have had the opportunity to work with! They were absolutely lovely and I am so thrilled for them and how their photos turned out. Check out some of the images from our session below!
