Samantha and Andrew struck gold on Bumble in Kansas a few years ago. Samantha had just about given up on dating at that point when she matched with Andrew, and clicked instantly. Samantha moved to Boston in 2019, and Andrew followed close behind her in 2020 so they could build their lives together! They can’t wait to have a beautiful destination wedding in Hawaii next year with their closest friends and family.
They were friendly and excited during our first call as we carefully planned out the engagement session at Minuteman National Park in Lexington, Massachusetts. Samantha and Andrew considered a few different options for outfits for themselves before selecting ones that they thought worked best for the scenery and mood they were going for! The national park has miles of dirt trails that are used daily by locals for walking, running and biking, and several nice open fields like the one we used for their engagement shoot.
Samantha and Andrew were so fun to work with! We managed to score a beautifully cloudy day with gorgeous afternoon lighting for this shoot. I love an open, grassy field for a rustic engagement session, and am really pleased with how these images turned out. They look so sweet together and the way they look each other just tells you everything you need to know about how much they love one another! Check out the photos below!
