Photography & VIDEOGRAPHY
I was privileged to be referred to Jeannie and Young-Jin by Tiana, a previous client of mine. I had been Tiana and her husband Patrick’s wedding photographer in 2020 in the Boston Seaport. When Tiana heard that her friend Jeannie was getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, she eagerly described her great experience working with me and recommended that Jeannie reach out! As this is one of the best things a wedding photographer can hear, I was elated to speak with Jeannie.
On my first Zoom call with Jeannie and Young-Jin, we connected instantly. They were wonderful to talk to and they connected with my work and style of shooting. I could tell that we would be a great fit for each other! Jeannie and Young Jin were having an intimate wedding at Young-Jin’s childhood home and live-streaming the ceremony to friends and family in Korea and elsewhere all over the world. We spent the days leading up to the wedding planning out the timeline and ended up shifting the coverage time and schedule as we felt out the day’s events.
Finally, the big day rolled around! It was such a joy working with Jeannie and Young-Jin. They were such amazing people and I had so much fun capturing candid shots of their family and sweet moments between the two of them celebrating their love. Young-Jin’s backyard had been meticulously cultivated by his mother and it looked absolutely stunning — a perfect wedding venue and superb backdrop to their wedding portraits. The also hired Andy Santospago, a talented live guitarist to serenade them with Beatles tunes as they walked down the aisle. Jeannie’s friend Tiana watched the ceremony on a Zoom livestream and was so excited to see her friend get married and that I was their photographer! I was thrilled with how the images turned out and they were too! Check them out below — you can tell you don’t need a glamorous venue to get gorgeous wedding photos!
